Group Trip Applications

We are currently working on our trip list for 2017-2018. Please check back with us in August for our Winter Break Applications being held in December 2017. 

Thank you for your interest in serving on a Buck-I-SERV Trip!
After successfully piloting an option to offer a few winter 2014 trips to groups instead of individuals, Buck-I-SERV will continue to offer some Group Trip options.  If you are interested in a trip for your group of at least 10 participants (1 advisor, 2 student leaders, and 7 other students), then this option might be for you.

Note: If a group application is denied, individual students within the group will still have time to apply for traditional Buck-I-SERV trips for the upcoming semester by the regular application deadline, if they choose. Those who apply online by the specified deadline will be considered for all other trips for which they have indicated preference on the online application among the traditional applicant pool.  Because the due dates for group trips, international trips, and trip leaders overlap, denied group applicants are not eligible for both other trip leadership positions and international trip participation.

If the group application is approved, Group participants, leaders and advisors will participate in all pre-departure education, training and events and a reorientation initiative. It is the group leader’ s responsibility to maintain a full trip roster; if your trip fails to maintain a full roster at any time, all participants will forfeit their placement.
