What is Buck-I-SERV?

Buck-I-SERV is The Ohio State University's alternative break program that sends students across the country over winter, spring and summer break to volunteer on a variety of social issues. All trips are substance free and offer students the chance to not only learn about the social issues their trip is addressing, but immerse themselves in a first hand experience to better their understanding of the issue at large.  Buck-I-SERV is not only educational, it's a lot of fun. These alternative break trips provide the opportunity for students to meet individuals from across the university, building friendships with others who they may never have met while at Ohio State.  Buck-I-SERV is funded by the Student Activity Fee and is planned by a commitee of students who work closely with the Center for Student Leadership and Service in the Ohio Union to plan and implement a series of service-related events and programs throughout the year.
